Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 24, 2026
Summary
SpikeHub (“we”) is developed by Raphael Ruedo. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and your choices. Contact: spikehub.vlr@gmail.com.
Data we collect
- Account data — when you sign in, we store your display name, avatar, and authentication identifiers via Firebase Authentication.
- Riot account link — sign-in with Riot uses Riot Sign-On (RSO). We never see or store your Riot credentials; we receive only the game identifiers Riot exposes (Riot ID, region, rank and match-related data) to build your profile.
- Profile and social content — information you add to your profile (languages, platform, game preferences, teams), posts, comments, chat messages, and LFG rooms are stored in Firebase (Firestore/Storage) and are visible to other users according to the app’s features.
- Usage and diagnostics — Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics collect anonymized usage statistics and crash reports to help us improve the app.
- Advertising — Google AdMob may process your advertising ID to serve ads. Where required, consent is collected through the ad consent flow on first launch.
What we do NOT collect
We do not collect your Riot password, real name, precise location, or contact list. We do not sell personal data.
Data retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account), which removes your profile and personal data from our systems; residual copies in backups are purged on their normal cycle. You can also request deletion by email.
Data sharing
Data is processed by Google (Firebase, Analytics, AdMob) under their respective privacy policies and, for game data, by Riot Games under the Riot Games Privacy Notice. We do not share personal data with any other third party.
Children
SpikeHub is not directed at children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account, we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
